The year 2012 Carley Community Hall (Formerly Carley School) turned 100 years old. In partnership with the Eady-Grenard women’s institute, the Hall received an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant in late 2011. This generous grant permitted extensive renovations to be performed so that recreational programming and social events can be put in place all year round to benefit the community. Check out pictures of the renovations Here. There was Ribbon Cutting and speeches and afterwards the hall was open to viewing renovations plus a BBQ with cake and refreshments (at no cost to attendees), historical artifacts and community fellowship. Below are some pictures of the Celebration.
